The Alaska Division Thanks Relocating Officers, Welcomes New and Returning
Each June, The Salvation Army welcomes new officers and thanks leaving officers going to new assignments in a variety of positions nationally. The annual change makes room for newly commissioned officers and learning opportunities within the organization.
Within the Alaska Division, Major Shevaun Malone who had been assigned at Divisional Headquarters, will now be serving as The Salvation Army Fairbanks Corps Officer along with newly commissioned officer, Lieutenant Rosanna Garcia, who will served as Assistant Corps Officer. We are thankful for the service of Captains Lance and Dana Walters who spent six years serving Alaska and have been assigned new positions in Washington.
The Anchorage Corps Community Center Welcomes Majors Paul and Rachel Chouinard who will now be serving as Corps Officers. We thank Lt. Colonels Dan and Helen Starrett who have been reassigned to California.
