Uriah Keith beats addiction to help others: Part 1

Jul 2, 2018 | by The Salvation Army

Uriah Keith found himself with a baby on the way and an addiction he was not willing to let go. Moving from prescription drugs to heroin and eventually turning to dealing drugs to support his habit, Uriah found his world crumbling down around him. Losing the privilege to raise his son, facing jail time and watching rock bottom come up fast, Uriah refused to stop using. Eight years into his addiction controlled life Uriah asked for help. He prayed for the chance to beat his demons. He soon found himself on the steps of Anchorage's Ernie Turner House and the The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center. Listen to Uriah talk about his experience and how God helped him get his life back.
