The Salvation Army depends on community to help serve over 7,000 Alaskans in need monthly by:

  • providing dual treatment rehabilitation for those suffering addiction;
  • offering emergency disaster services, kits and information for seniors;
  • giving toys and gifts to children in need throughout the holiday season; and
  • providing warm meals, shelter, and utilities assistance.

Volunteer bell ringing with The Salvation Army is a fun and festive way to spread some holiday cheer to those in need. Dress up in festive clothes, wear your red apron, bring some Christmas music and have some fun ringing the silver bell to raise funds for our neighbors in need. We will take care of the rest!

See the below contact list to volunteer as a bell ringer at a location near you! When calling, ask to speak to the kettle coordinator.
